Made from Aquitex, which is Aquis’ proprietary microfiber blend, the towels are very soft and absorbent. The Aquis hair towel can come both as a regular microfiber towel as well as a waffle weaved hair towel.

Aquis Hair Towel Review – Pros

The Aquis hair towel is made from Aquis’ blend of microfiber that is lightweight and superabsorbent. The microfiber material works as a superabsorbant towel to soak up the water from your hair and will actually dry your hair more thoroughly than using a regular towel. This is especially a bid deal where we live because it’s so humid all the time; the towel will get my hair dry enough to leave alone if I need to or if I have to blow dry it, it takes 10-15 minutes of the time I spend blow drying my hair. In fact, because of this my hair has been less damaged and has fewer split ends and hasn’t been healthier since I was a teenager. So not only does it save you time, the Aquis hair turban will save you money on all sorts of conditioner and hair therapy products.

Another thing that I enjoy about the Aquis hair towel is that it is very light and isn’t heavy at all when it’s on my head. I’ll wrap my hair first thing when I get out of the shower and leave it there while I put on makeup and get the kids some breakfast and I won’t notice it at all. Then when I have time to do my hair, it’ll be mostly dry but still manageable if I decide to style it at all.

The last benefit that I wanted to mention was that the Aquis hair towel is perfect for travelling. I travel a lot both for business and vacations, and I always take the towel with me. Because the microfiber material is thin and lightweight it’s less I have to pack, the towel dries better than any hotel towel will making my mornings on the road that much easier, and after I’m done with it, it dries off very fast so that it doesn’t get mildew when it’s packed in my luggage.

Aquis Hair Towel Review – Cons

I want to be fair and give an accurate review but honestly it’s hard to find any real issues with the Aquis hair towel. I’ve been a big fan of the Aquis towels for many years now and have owned several. The one thing that can hurt the performance of the towel or even ruin it altogether is fabric softener. The microfiber materials treat fabric softener as an oily contaminant that it soaks up and the problem is it won’t easily come out. Now I knew that I shouldn’t use the liquid fabric softener when washing the Aquis hair turban but I guess I never thought about using a fabric sheet. My towel went from being an all-star hair drying machine to only second string. After looking online I found that fabric sheets end up doing the same thing. Lesson learned.

The only other drawback of the Aquis microfiber hair towel that I can see is the price. The Aquis towels are a little on the expensive end especially when comparing them to regular towels. The only thing that I can say is that there are many times in life you get what you pay for and the Aquis towels are a great value. They last for many years, are easy to take care of and will make your hair healthier and quite possibly save you money in the long run.

Saving Money on Aquis Microfiber Towels

If you’re interested in purchasing an Aquis hair towel there’s plenty of online retailers that you can purchase them, but from what I’ve found Amazon has the lowest prices. They offer a wide variety of colors and because they deal in volume they can afford to offer lower prices. Of course you can always look around at some of the advertised offers from other websites; you’ll never know when you find a great deal. The problem with the “great deals” is that there are some cheap microfiber knock-offs out there that won’t perform as well and may contribute to the negative feedback that others have written about.
