Microfiber Cleaning Towels
Microfiber cleaning towels are a multi-purpose cleaning towel that can literally clean anything you have in your home. Microfiber towels have the unique property of being able to absorb both insane amount of water as well as oil and dirt making it versatile enough to be the only cleaning cloth you need. Microfiber cleaning towels are the perfect solution to just about all of the annoying house cleaning chores. By using one or two of these to clean the house, you can have an entire room cleaned in a third of the time.
Cleaning with Microfiber Towels
Cleaning with microfiber towels is a breeze; it will take you longer to read this and order them then it will to clean your living room. All you need to do to clean with a microfiber cleaning towel is to get one of these towels soaking wet and then wring it dry. This will get the cleaning towel to just the right dampness that it will pick up oil and dirt without scratching the surface of what you’re cleaning. The way it works is that microfiber towels are split to expose a higher surface area which leaves room for things like dirt and grime to fit into these pockets (see picture below).
You don’t need any cleaning products and if you’re in a pinch and don’t have any water (such as if you were using a microfiber cleaning towel on your car) you can still use the microfiber towel dry and it still won’t scratch the surface. The easiest way to clean your house using microfiber cleaning cloths is to have one cleaning cloth damp and one dry one. Simply wipe the surface over with the damp one and follow up with the dry one. Using one in each hand you can easily work your way through the dirtiest rooms. You can use microfiber cleaning cloths on everything from kitchen and bath countertops to tables and chairs, to delicate electronics like TV and laptop screens, to stainless steel kitchen appliances to windows and mirrors. You’ll be amazed when you simply wipe over your windows and there’s no streaks or residues left behind. And you didn’t even have to use any window cleaner.
In fact, because you’re not using any cleaner (and I know what you’re thinking, how can it disinfect without chemicals? More on that later) you’re making your home healthier for you and your family not to mention you’ll save tons of money not purchasing all the different chemical cleaners needed for every part of the house. You’re probably wondering will microfiber cleaning cloths disinfect as well? The answer is yes, not only are you wiping up the bacteria you’re also removing the water that the bacteria needs to survive. But even if you aren’t comfortable with this, you can still use a chemical disinfectant with your microfiber towels like you normally would. You’ll still save money on the paper towels that would normally be used!
Caring for Microfiber Cleaning Towels
Caring for microfiber cleaning towels is extremely easy. You can use the cleaning towels like you normally would use any towel. They’ll start to get darker and eventually blacken as it picks up more dirt and grime. Once your towel is nice and dirty, throw it in the washer and wash it like any other towel; just DON’T USE FABRIC SOFTENER. Fabric softener will clog up the towels because it acts a lot like the grease and oil. From there you can throw the towel into the dryer and dry it like a normal towel (WITHOUT A FABRIC SOFTENER SHEET like Bounce). From there your towel is ready to reuse just like normal. The great thing about these towels is that they’re reusable and can last for long periods of time.
Buy Microfiber Cleaning Towels Online
If you think you want to give them a try, buying microfiber cleaning cloths online is probably your best bet. There are a lot of cleaning cloths available at department stores and mail order shops like QVC and they’ll work great. The problem is they typically cost three times more than what you can get online. The best place I’ve found to get these towels is Amazon.com. They have a great selection and have some of the lowest prices around not to mention that they offer free shipping on $25 or more. My advice would be to get a multi pack so that you can leave one in every room of your house. This makes house cleaning way more convenient.
