They’ll start to get darker and eventually blacken as it picks up more dirt and grime. Once your towel is nice and dirty, throw it in the washer and wash it like any other towel; just DON’T USE FABRIC SOFTENER. Fabric softener will clog up the towels because it acts a lot like the grease and oil. From there you can throw the towel into the dryer and dry it like a normal towel (WITHOUT A FABRIC SOFTENER SHEET like Bounce). From there your towel is ready to reuse just like normal. The great thing about these towels is that they’re reusable and can last for long periods of time.

There are a lot of cleaning cloths available at department stores and mail order shops like QVC and they’ll work great.
