By far the best thing about the Turbie Twist hair turban is that it is specifically designed to wrap your hair easily, and keep it wrapped up securely. The Turbie Twist towel took me a little getting used to because of the unique design, but after a few practice runs, I was able to put my hair up into a wrap in 2 seconds. What’s great about the towel is that you don’t have to wring out your hair if you don’t want to, you can wrap it in the Turbie towel and wring it out that way and the microfiber material just soaks it right up. And once I’m ready to do my hair, all I have to do is untwist the turban towel and my hair is 90-95% of the way dry. The towel leaves my hair manageable and if I need to blow dry it I can do so quickly or it’s dry enough I’ll just put a little product in it and leave it alone. The Turbie Towel saves me a ton of time in the morning; I don’t have to blow dry my hair hardly at all, I can just put it up and put my makeup on or get the kids breakfast and my hair is practically ready to go when I need to go. Best of all my hair is much healthier from not having to blow dry it and it looks better too.

Turbie Twist Hair Towel Review – Cons

The only thing that makes the Turbie Twist worse than other hair towels I’ve used in the past is that when you first get it, it’s full of lint and if you don’t wash it first, your hair will be covered in lint. I’m not sure if this is just part of the manufacturing process or what, but washing it first seemed to fix the problem. The best thing is you can just throw it into the wash with your other towels, just don’t use fabric softener (this includes fabric dryer sheets). I’ve heard of other people having problems with the Turbie Twist and after some investigating have discovered that a lot of the complaints that other people have (doesn’t dry well, doesn’t stay on) are due to the fact that there are some inferior knock-offs that don’t work at all. The Turbie Twist hair towels can be a little pricey (although there are more expensive microfiber towels out there) but you truly are getting what you pay for. I’ve found that these towels are around $5 a piece and if you’re getting a multi pack for that price then it’s probably not the real deal.

If you’re interested in buying a Turbie Twist there’s plenty of online retailers where you can purchase them, but from what I’ve found Amazon has the lowest prices. They offer a wide variety of colors and because they deal in volume they can afford to offer lower prices. Of course you can always look around at some of the advertised offers from other websites; you’ll never know when you find a great deal. The problem with the “great deals” is that there are some cheap microfiber knock-offs out there that won’t perform as well and may contribute to the negative feedback that others have written about.
